This old colonial house, which was built in 1760, is particularly impressive because of its rococo style with numerous details, and strange, but appealing combination with tiles. This style of wall decoration in colorful ceramics is inspired by the Moorish Art. Inside, the Viceroyalty museum gathers some rare pieces; furniture, paintings, art objects, and everything from the period of the viceroyalty in Peru (which means after the Spanish “conquest” and before the country independence in 1821).
